How it works
Three of anything makes something better.
You already know how to play. The first merge takes about four seconds to learn, and the island keeps handing you new things to try it on.
Merge three, get one
Drag matching items together on the isometric board. Three become one of the next tier — and five become two, once you spot it.
Hatch and harvest
Three speckled eggs make an Ember Hatchling. Tap your dragons to harvest gem shards, then forge those shards into flame gems.
Push back the fog
Fill the orders in the Ledger to earn gold keys, spend them on the fog banks, and wake a new corner of the sanctuary — hidden eggs and all.

Eleanor
Keeper of the Ledger · the isle of Emberkeep
She keeps the Ledger of orders, and the Ledger is what wakes the isle: fill it and the fog gives ground. Warm about the work, unmoved by excuses.
Selyna
Of the northern floes · Borealis
You meet her past the Ember Gate, where the isles turn to ice and the aurora does the lighting. Her orders are colder work and better paid.

The base rate is 100 Gold per euro; the €10, €25 and €100 packs add 10%, 20% and 30% on top. One-off payments. Gold is also earned in play. The Hearth Hoard’s 1,250 Warmth stacks above your Warmth bar, so none of it is lost.

Emberkeep goes deeper than the merge. Eleanor and Selyna each have a look to change into, dragons come in new scales, the Mansion can become a windmill, a tree house or an igloo, and monuments take their place on your isle.

Before you start.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Emberkeep runs in your browser on desktop, phone and tablet. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
Is it really free?
Yes. A free account is all it asks for — no card, nothing to install — and the whole game is playable without spending anything. Everything the shop sells saves time: Gold and Warmth both come from play too.
What does the Hearth Hoard’s Warmth do?
It adds 1,250 Warmth to your island the moment the pack arrives. Bought Warmth can go past the top of your Warmth bar, so none of it is lost: you spend it as you play, and the bar starts refilling on its own again once you drop below its limit.
Will I lose my progress?
No. Your island lives on your free account, not in this browser, so it follows you to your phone or another laptop — purchases included. That is why the game asks you to make one before you start.
Does it work on my phone?
It works in iOS and Android browsers, and the board has a portrait layout built for a thumb.
What kind of game is this?
A merge puzzle game — the same family as Merge Dragons and EverMerge — set on floating isles, with dragons to hatch and a sanctuary to rebuild.
